Who knows the joys that lie ahead, the secret smiles I'll find, the friends I'll meet, the memories sweet, the cares I'll leave behind? Who knows the beauty of the days I've never seen before...
My only wish for life is this, the courage to explore.
Bill and I were married in July of 1961 - hence the name of our blog. Clever don't you think. We were blessed to have six kids - all of whom are grown and all of whom we are very proud. We have Gary who lives in Utah; Susan, who temporarily lives in Kansas, Richard and Jesse who live in Colorado. Megan who lives in Arkansas and Erin in Utah. We have 13 incredible grandchildren and 4 adorable great-grandkids. This year we celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary (and they said it wouldn't last) and are looking forward to our 50th when we fully intend to go to Hawaii to celebrate - so kids start saving so you can send your old parents to the Big Island. We have lived in Utah, California, Colorado and are new residents of Missouri. We are feeling a bit like pioneers - we are starting anew in the place they had to leave when they went West. It should be an exciting time and we are grateful to be together for the experience.
Hello McNeil Family from Liberty, Missouri. I am Anne Untch (Bishop Ken Allen's aunt who is only a few months older than him...crazy huh?). I just wanted to thank you for sharing your wonderful parents with us. Our family truly recognizes the amazing people they are.
I PROMISE that we will take very good care of them. I feel sick that I didn't realize that your Dad wasn't eating like he should have been while your Mom wasn't yet here. Thank goodness she is here now. I am sure he will be more behaved (why are you laughing???...tee hee).
I look forward to learning more about your wonderful family. XO
